Every year Lawn Fawn does a mystery bag sale with proceeds going to a charity. This year they donated 100% of the profits to Feeding America. The grab bags go up on Giving Tuesday and sell out FAST. There are three cost tiers: $25, $50, and $100. I saw the announcement and immediately mentioned it to my husband as a potential Christmas gift with the caveat, “They sell out fast.” He did not disappoint.
Based on what I know of the grab bags, it looks like I got a $25 one. The value of the items inside is well over that price, though. I received: the Stitched Speech Bubble Backdrop (retails for $30 on their site), Simply Celebrate Spring border stamps (retails for $15), Dandy Day mini notebooks ($6), and Let it Snow sticky notes ($5). All told, the retail value of the items in the box came to $56. Not bad, in my opinion! That backdrop die was really the winner. I don’t buy backdrop dies because of how expensive they are, so I was excited to add one to my stash!
The Lawn Fawn grab bags are fun, and while the sticky notes and notebooks can feel like filler, I tend to see them as bonuses. The real win is in getting a stamp set and an entire die for $25.
Thanks for stopping by!
