I recently signed up to participate in an Artist Trading Card swap. The organizer sent out a survey asking about favorite words, colors, seasons, and other information. I received three people to create ATCs for and I was terrified.
At first I was overwhelmed by all the things they said they liked and my mind spun trying to figure out a way to incorporate their favorite colors and seasons AND make it Halloween! The deadline to mail off the pieces grew closer and closer and, finally, in order to save my brain and to actually accomplish something, I decided to focus on seasons and, if possible, to incorporate favorite colors.
Once I narrowed it down, I was able to create the cards you see above. I was excited to send them out and to receive the cards from the artists who got my name. And they were well worth it!

As part of my survey, I said my favorite season was fall and that I love cats (because I do). The artists really captured beauty and fun and creativity. The postcard was made from a cereal box (love it) and included a tiny story, so when you think of Artist Trading Cards, think of all the ways you can interpret that.
All in all, I adore the art I received and still trying to figure out a way to display it. If you have any ideas, please comment and let me know!
