Trinity Stamps Slimline Envelope Die*

Slimline! Sorry about the glare.

If you’ve been watching YouTube videos, or reading card making blogs, or paying attention to releases from the many wonderful stamp companies in the world, you may have noticed a lot of cards of the slimline variety. Slimline cards are usually 8.5″ long and 3.5″ to 4″ wide. They will fit within a business sized envelope and have a lot more real estate than your standard A2 sized card.

One of the first companies to release a slimline die, this one specifically to make envelopes for your slimline cards, was Trinity Stamps. Everyone was buying their die: Amy R. from Prairie Paper & Ink, Cassie Trask, and many other people I cannot right not pull from my brain. I watched a lot of slimline cards being made and finally caved in and bought the Trinity Stamps envelope die. It was sold out and so I put my email down to be notified when it was back in stock. And now I have it.

One of the things I like about this set is that it includes two word dies with outlines, the stitched scallop frame die, and the closures. The envelope cut out looks like a policy envelope and I can see myself using it to make policy envelopes for photo albums. It’s really a lot of product for “just” a slimline envelope die.

Trinity Stamps now has an entire Slimline Series with stencils, dies, and pre-made envelopes.

One of the fun things about ordering from Trinity Stamps is that they always send a really sweet thank you gift. It’s usually some sort of sequin or embellishment mix, a little die, and some tea. This is such a thoughtful and fun way show appreciation to their customers and was especially a delight because I had completely forgotten they did that, so when I pulled the die out to photograph it, I was met with that delightful surprise!

I did eat the stroopwaffel before I posted this. The mix is of silver and iridescent stars, white confetti pieces, and teensy red, white, and blue stars. The mix is perfect for July and for an adorable summer shaker card. I’ll post it here when I make the project that’s inevitably coming.

Trinity Stamps is located in my neck of the woods in the Pacific Northwest and I love supporting my PNW neighbors. If you haven’t seen their gorgeous products (their embellishments are amazing), I encourage you to check them out!

*This is not a sponsored post. I’m just really excited to have the dies and their embellishments are really cool.
