Here are the five cards I made for Week 2 of the Stash Bash. I’m keeping it to five cards at a time to minimize boredom or feeling overwhelmed by the “work” I have to do. I pulled in sketches for three and freestyled two of them. Probably my favorite is the bottom left with the cookies and ribbon. I freestyled that one and I was really pleased with how it came out.
One thing I pulled in that I didn’t include in my supplies post were the red hearts. I made those about 2 years ago, used two of them on a card, and then set the rest of them aside. I made them from red card stock die cut out from a Lawn Fawn Lawn Cuts literally called Hearts. I then used the dies to cut out red fun foam to give them dimension. I ran them through my Xyron Sticker Maker and, finally, added Glossy Accents to make them shiny with a little more dimension.

I decided not to worry too much about how I used the card stock stickers. They’re cute and cheerful and, sure, green tea and sugar cubes might not be the first thing you think of when you’re wishing someone the best, but look how happy they are for you!

I thought the paper I pulled would last four weeks, but what you see in the photo above is what’s left. Two full 6×6 sheets and a lot of little scraps. I plan using the smallest pieces I can, but I’m not being too precious about throwing away tiny scraps. This has been a really successful endeavor and I think having a week or two off to reset and work on other things will be good. So there will be one more June Stash Bash post next week and then I’ll be done with this “mini kit”.
Coming up on Friday, a Father’s Day card using the Pink & Main May 2020 Card Kit.
