What I Did
I have been using the Georgia Pacific card stock as design panels since I bought the paper ages ago. I followed the lead of great card makers like Jenner McGuire and cut down several pages into 4 pieces so I would have a stack handy when I wanted to make something. To be honest, I think that’s gone a long way towards me getting back into the swing of things with card making.

I’ve had the Amy Tangerine sticker book for some time. It was another cool item included in a Simon Says Stamp card kit, but not being that comfortable with stickers and how to use them in card making, I set them aside. I’d pull them out every once in awhile and look at them, trying to think how to use them.
I ended up using one of the stickers for a card I sent someone to say hello and that got my brain working on how to use other stickers. There was the Boba tea sticker, and sunglasses, and a beach umbrella, and sea shells. And I came up with the idea of a beach card with all the things you might take with you. I pulled out my Distress Oxide inks and my Vivace brushes and ink blended myself a pretty basic beach scene.
I chose the stickers I wanted to use and set about laying them out in a scene that made sense. When I finished with the book, I noticed that A. There was a lot of space at the top and B. I had neglected to ink blend in a sun. So I got creative and used a final sticker that reads Sunshine on My Mind and placed it about where I would have ink blended in Squeezed Lemonade if I had been thinking about it.
I almost feel guilty with how easy this card was, but I also think it’s really cute despite its quirkiness. Let me know what you think!
Really love your wonderful beach scene you’ve made with the stickers! I have some great stickers and always forget to pull them out! Thanks for sharing! P.S. If you ever want to swap an ATC with me, just let me know! 🙂 Have a great weekend!
