Well, crafty friends, the photo at the top of this post is the remainder of what I set out to use…that is what’s left, not including the pocket cards I forgot to include in the photo. 🙂
Some things to note. First, when I pulled out the entire packet of rub-on sentiments, I discovered there were two sheets. One in black and one in white. So that doubled the number of sentiments I needed to get through. I was not prepared.
Second, I had a lot more consonants than vowels in my paper alphabet, so I was somewhat limited in what I could do. I think it’s time to recycle the rest of the alphabet. I made a concerted effort and I used them as much as I could, so I feel all right about not using the rest.
The things I did use up were: the Light Blue and Lime Green card bases, the rest of the Well, Hello paper pad, and the Doodlebug Shape Sprinkles.
What I have so far: 13 assorted cards and 3 basic gift card holders. I feel really good about that! I used the shape sprinkles on the gift card holders and figure they’ll make fun quick coffee gifts for people. I was finally able to pull out a Sizzix Tim Holtz rounded slot punch to make the gift cards. That punch has been sitting in my stash for years and it finally earned its keep (I got it on clearance).

When I finished up the big push pictured above, I thought that would be the end of it. But I had so many of the rub-on sentiments left and I knew I could figure out a way to use them. Keep an eye out for the 4th installation of this May Stash Bash to see how I used the white on black sentiments.
That makes it sound like this might be a series! Watch this space!
