A halfhearted attempt to organize my crafting space led to this quick card using a pocket card, paper from a card kit, and an A2 sized card from Paper Accents. The entire thing took me less than ten minutes to put together and has inspired me to keep of few cards like this on hand in case I need to grab a card last minute.

What I Did
I had set aside several of the Me & My Big Idea pocket cards that I thought I could use for a card. I decided to grab one and use that as the focus and sentiment on the front of the card. I also decided to try something I don’t do often and round the corner of the pocket card.

I then selected some paper from my stash. I don’t remember the collection this came from, but I do know it was part of a Simon Says Stamp Monthly Card Kit. I liked the colors and thought they matched the hearts on the pocket card. I cut the paper down to 4″x5.25″ and rounded the lower right corner on the panel.
I had purchased a few packages of the Paper Accents blank cards awhile ago and use them occasionally. I thought the green went really well with all the colors and so used that a my base.

Originally I stamped the thank you sentiment directly on the card base, but it came out wonky, so I decided instead to cut a writing panel down to the same size as the patterned paper, glue it to the inside, and stamp again. After I rounded the corner, obviously. I added the Queen & Co. rhinestones because the blue matched and I wanted a little sparkle that didn’t have to dry. I’m really stingy with my sparkly bits. I should learn to be more generous. Goals!
All in all I like how this card came out. I think the pocket card sentiment matches the “thank you” theme of the card. It was super easy to put this one together and I plan on looking to my many pocket cards sitting around to get some more inspiration.
If you have pocket cards you picked up for whatever reason, try them out on a card. They are already decorated and can make card making a snap when you’re in a hurry.
